“A committed creation, born from personal research, brought to the stage, and conceived as a tribute to women scientists.

Based on a call for projects (pattern envelope model from the Petit Écho de la Mode of the 1950s 1960s Dress” No. 56 506 which inevitably evokes for me the NEW LOOK and Christian Dior) to create a garment with a contemporary, offbeat, innovative aesthetic, highlighting the place of women in society.

My intention:

To illustrate women in the scientific world, often forgotten, made invisible, neglected; a form of feminism that does not exclude motherhood, collaboration, love for men, and especially for other humans; transmission and sisterhood; to illustrate and pay tribute to superwomen, to multi-role assumed, to battles on all sides for another society; to open up to the science of the future and the place of women in the future of science, particularly biotechnologies.

Reusing materials:

I draw inspiration from Irène's work to use materials that evoke, in particular, aluminum, the use of which was a crucial step in her discoveries. In my mood board, Iris van Herpen's works and her approach to science and nature inform my creations.

The story of this creation is where the world of science meets the world of fashion, with the modest contribution of my personal history—my history with chemistry, innovation, the energy of fibers and the energy associated with chemistry, and undoubtedly also my personal energy, my work on power dressing, which should be understood as much as energy as power.
